On March 20, 2003, US and coalition forces began military operations in

Iraq.  As of  January 7, 2008, there have been 3,908 American deaths in the war in Iraq. More than 28,000 U.S. troops have been wounded in action.  We must remember and honor the North Dakotans that gave the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.
